Solitude Series #1:

In the solitude of a cold hospital room, Jeon Jeongguk clung to his husband, Kim Taehyung's lifeless form. As an EMT, he'd saved countless lives, but fate's cruel hand had taken the one most precious to him.

Seconds turned into agonizing minutes as Jeongguk's hands pumped Taehyung's chest, desperate to revive the love of his life. But each beat echoed with the haunting realization that his efforts were in vain.

Tears streamed down Jeongguk's face as he leaned over his husband, his voice trembling. "I became an EMT to save people's lives," he whispered. "Twenty minutes of CPR on my husband proved that it was a lie."

As the daylight faded, casting long shadows across the room, the graveyard gates loomed ominously in the distance. Jeongguk knew it was time to bid his beloved farewell.

With a trembling hand, he brushed Taehyung's cold cheek. "I love you," he uttered, his voice barely above a whisper. As the gates creaked open, Jeongguk realized that a part of him had died along with Taehyung. He was forever alone in the depths of his solitude.
