It is taking place in the New Era of Mortal Kombat 1 and MK11. Following Jaune's demise, he was forced out of Beacon and abandoned by everyone who knew him because his fake transcripts were leaked into the public world. Jaune was transported into the Mortal Kombat universe, where he became one of the most skilled warriors amongst the Lin Kuei. After he refused to aid Kronika and was sent into the void, Jaune escaped alongside Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and Fujin. Now, he and his allies must travel back in time and save the timeline. But Jaune will realize that not all people are who they appear to be. (Important: The original creator of this story is Arcanus the Scribe. He and I were planning on rewriting it together. However, he is currently struggling with personal issues and has allowed me to continue it.)

Running away from home at a very young age, Kenzo spent most of his life alone until Ozpin's Soldiers found him and took him to Beacon Academy. His arrival at Beacon was celebrated, but it was soon realised that bringing him there was useless. His fear of the Grimm and complete lack of fighting skills made him hopeless in battle. Almost every student in Beacon believed that he would never succeed as a Huntsman. His Roommates believed that he could be their leader, but there was one person that believed in him more than anyone else: Yang Xiao Long. But even with her assistance, Kenzo was universally deemed useless. Until the Grimm invaded Beacon Academy, and Yang was injured...Then Kenzo snapped... Now Team RWBY are searching for a runaway student and Grimm are dying everywhere. Ozpin is on edge and the entirety of Beacon is fearing the return of the White Fang. But the White Fang fear something else that is much more powerful. Kenzo Zanshi is no longer innocent... Between Volume 2 and Volume 3, an unlikely hero rose from the ashes of his past to claim victory...

And when Jaune was to be expelled, we see many Universes where his Team don't support him, but here, they do. Team JNPR left Beacon and decided to forge their own Path, without the need of Beacon, and the Path they took, took them to the Stars. Where they become much more than Huntsmen, a Hero to their Allies, and a Demon to their Enemies. This is the Story of Juniper Team, a Squad of SPARTAN-IIIs
