A one-act play about an old man finding new meaning in life.
I took a playwriting class in 2018, and this was the one-act play I wrote for my final. I was inspired by a news article that I reference in the opening scene, and obviously the song Buttercup's Lament. As unlikely as it is for a single middle-aged man to adopt, I can do whatever I want in a play. Hope you enjoy!
