She only had one friend, the little boy down the road who stole her heart and she fell in love. Throughout her life she's faced many hardships. All of which have impacted her life and shaped her into the person she is today.

A broken girl who's been trying to desperately put herself back together. Ever since that day so many years ago she hasn't been the same. The start of this apocalypse is also the start of her change. She realizes she is strong, and she can do this no matter how hard things may be.

Lauren is in her worse state of mind after losing everything she's ever loved and gets to meet Rick in his scariest state of survival also, relating to him more than anyone else in the group having done the same things as Rick to survive at all costs.
