Kenma hasn't seen his friend in over 2 years now. His self doubt got the best of him afterwards. Everyday and night after Kuroo left, was spent on crying here, sobbing there, having his little attacks here and there. It was hell for him. His depression came back after years of getting rid of it.
The only thing that Kenma truly wished for was one last goodbye before finding out Kuroo had left to Canada. So he wouldn't have to spend all those late nights tossing and turning, and the silence that crowded him. The very bitter sweetness of his emptiness.
