Katana Miya, a girl obsessed with volleyball, is forced to move with her father after things fall apart with their parents, the twins being separated from their adopted sister. Starting fresh in a new place, with new faces, Kata found it hard to fit in, but once she made friends with two boys, both a year older than her in age, she started to really feel like she fit in. But, upon the end of year 3 of Junior High, rumors spread that caused Kata to start anew.

Starting fresh once again, Katana moves in with her cousin and his family, quickly becoming friends with her cousins friends and getting involved in volleyball again. Her newfound involvement in volleyball makes her determined to improve her skills, which can only be fulfilled with a visit to her brothers and their team. With a newfound confidence and beauty about her, Katana easily steals the hearts of all the Nekoma volleyball team and everyone else in the volleyball world, but more notably, a certain setter vice captain. Staying on as Nekoma's team manager, but also joining the Nekoma girls' volleyball team, Kata tries to leave her old life behind, but when things seem to catch up to the girl, how will she handle the stress of those secrets threatening to spill out?
