After a strange dream, sixteen year old Carmen Andrews is left in utter confusion. Her best friend is somehow mixed up with the wrong crowd, her grades are suddenly dropping, and worst of all she somehow managed to set fire to a tree by accident. Unable to cope with all of the sudden stress she finds herself yearning for someone, or SOMETHING-the woman from her dream.

Andy Mills had everything. A loving family, a nice car, good grades, and he was one of the best football players in his school. When his uncle forced a project on he and Carmen, everything took a turn for the worse. After seventeen years of being kept in the dark, the truth finally came to light. But of course, with the truth comes consequences.

Mara Gonzalez was troubled. Her scars were deep, but her pain and regret were deeper. After two years of being left alone, her past finally caught up to her. Just when she thought she could escape, the person she hated the most appeared in her life again. This time, it seemed, she had to fight back.
