Aroura Tomlinson is a senior at Liberty Stone Highschool. Everyday she faces bullies, teachers, family, and just life itself. Aroura tries to do her best in school, never getting lower than a B- on tests and report cards. She plans on going to Virginia's School Of Photography and design. Her family is slightly broken.
Everyone on her dad's side- including her dad- are either drunks or drug addicts. On her mothers side, every one has been from a broken home and no longer talks to one another due to each others life choices. The only thing holding Aroura's parents together, is the drugs and drinks. Other people in the family that she lives with consists of her older brother Alex, and her younger sister Melanie.
When Aroura's brother becomes a horrible heroine addict and starts raping her and her younger sister, she plans on running away. Of course that would mean leaving Melanie behind, but saving herself as better than nothing, right? She soon finds the answer to that.
