Scrunched up under the bed I shook, silently praying that whoever owned this house I had mistakenly entered wouldn't find me.
The loud stomping entered the room and bare feet entered my vision. They stopped before the bed, and I tensed. Great job Stilla, middle of nowhere, your legs are tired, saw a house and thought,
"Oh, jolly me! Why don't we just go in this random house miles from anywhere! Let's ignore the fact that there's fucking blood on the pathway up to it! And you know what?! Let's just add the icing to the cake and FALL ASLEEP ON THE FUCKING COUCH! GREAT IDEA STILLA! I applaud!"
The person bent down as I held my breath and just before their head came into view and discovered me they suddenly stood up and left the room. I let out the breath I was holding and thanked the gods.
Hot breath blew against the back of my neck as a low voice whispered, "Yeah joking, I smelt ya."
I screamed as something warm and furry wrapped around my ankle and dragged me to my end.

'"What are you doing here?!" I scolded. "What are you doing here?!" Hunter said. "You didn't answer my question!" I said to him. He looked at me and I knew what was coming next. He suddenly turned from furious to comforting. "What's is this place?" He whispered and opened his arms. I examined him cautiously before breaking and running into his arms. I cried against his strong build. He stroked my hair and whispered repetitively, "Its ok. I'm here now. Don't worry. I'm all yours."' Everyone has to start somewhere. My life started without a dad. People change their minds and people make mistakes. My mom did just that when she left me at four years old with my Great Aunt Lorie. I know where my mom lives, but I wish I didn't. Don't get me wrong, I still love her to death, but sometimes...forgiveness...is hard to give out...to everyone. 'I jumped over the river that I had never crossed before. I was feeling dizzy, everything was spinning. I felt like I was in slow motion groaning at the pain looking down the stairs. That's the last thing I see before I black out. The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. The light from the ceiling in the distance back and forth, the light so bright, pointed directly at me, causing me to squint. I could barely see, my vision was blurry.
