"Why won't you just give it a chance Mar?" he pleaded.

"Because giving it a chance is giving me a chance to fail. And too many times its been the later."

"Don't you believe in possiblity though? I mean haven't you ever heard of happy endings?" He asked as he walked backwards ahead of me, with his hands jammed nonchalantly in the pockets of his jacket.

"Happy endings are for fairytales, Rowan. And I don't believe in fairytales."

~~~~~
Marlee Aarons, never believed in fairytales, even though they were a very popular topic at the orphanage she grew up in. She still refused to accept the idea that someday a prince will come rushing in to save her from her dreary life, or that some knight in shinning armor will fall madly in love with her. That kind of stuff just doesn't happen in reality. And when reality is constantly hitting you in the face like an ever-present brick wall, there's nothing else you can really do besides accept it.
But when she one day meets Rowan Peters, the day-dreaming, dilinquent of Harvy High School, he wants to try and change her point of view. He wants to help Marlee accept that while life may throw some plot twists your way, everyone has their own happily ever after.Follow the story in "I Don't Believe in Fairytales" By LostGirl_26
