Fast on a broom, and first to show compassion is all it takes to make friends with Oliver Wood. Well, the broomstick bit is more important, but that other thing helps too.

As a school Prefect, I know that I should follow stricter to the rules, but the company I keep prefers a few slip-ups here and there. If I was looking the other way, it didn't happen. And if it happened to me, I can't remember it.
Coming of age to an early nineties soundtrack really can't be beat.

Oliver Evans is The Prodigy of the Heart (Book One) by salazarsscribes
21 parts Complete Mature
Our story begins in 1982, at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Severus Snape was hired as the potions master a year ago, and has gotten himself somewhat settled in the role. All that changes when he meets an overly enthusiastic student named Oliver Evans. This young boy, with dreams of becoming the potions master himself at Hogwarts goes from a thorn in his side, to his most beloved pupil. With numerous adventures around every corner, and different rules being broken almost daily, Oliver and Snape's lives would never be the same. Follow this fifth year Slytherin in his quest to protect his friends, represent his school and even falling head over heels for a certain someone along the way. ~Important Information~ Because the story takes place in 80s, some events at Hogwarts may be done differently than the years we are accustomed to. Although I do like to check my facts, some things have been slightly changed. Some events have also been added. This is indeed a love story, however you are also following along in every day life at Hogwarts and the trials of Oliver's life. If you're looking for an explicit and steamy romance novel, this isn't the one. This is a story without Harry Potter, Lily Evans, and many of the original members. They simply do not exist. Faculty, for the most part has not changed and should be lined up correctly with canon except in places where new faculty has been created. There is no relation between Oliver and Lily. To learn more about the new characters, please read their Character Bios. Contains romantic scenes that may be considered PG-13 and some harsh language No 17+ mature scenes within, rating checked to act as an umbrella over listed above information

Charlie X Reader, 'Playing With Fire' Book 1 (Series Completed) *** "Uh, yeah. I stopped going to classes a while back. Believe it or not, that's not good for the GPA. I had, like, a 26 average or something," I said like it wasn't a big deal. "Damn, that's not great," he admitted. He rounded the corner into Percy's room. I could hear Percy fighting with the twins in their room. "Why'd you do that?" he asked teasingly. "My dad died," I answered honestly. "Oh, shit. I'm sorry," he said and his face dropped. "It's alright," I dismissed. "Seriously, stop looking at me like that." "I can't help it," he said. "You're making it worse. You look like a wounded puppy," I whined. "Don't be like everyone else. I'm sick of people treating me differently because of this whole thing. Treat me normally." "You mean, like flirt with you a little bit?" "Well, I, uh," I stuttered. He grinned at me. "You're blushing." *** Seventh-year Y/N Y/L/N is what the professors would call a prime example of wasted potential, with an impressively bad 26% average. As far as she's concerned, she is past academic redemption. However, Dumbledore and McGonagall decide to introduce a new opportunity for struggling students, a scholarship that covers a trip abroad. Y/N is desperately in need of this scholarship if she wants to graduate from Hogwarts, but she is struggling through more than anyone knows. The only thing that is keeping her going is the family she's found with the Weasleys. They're an odd bunch and that's exactly why she fits in. Because she doesn't. Things are simple with the Weasley family. That is until she crosses a line with one of the Weasley boys, a path that can never be retraced. Y/N finds herself trapped in a web of lies that she had created. One spark and everything she has worked for could be gone in an instant. And she's playing with fire. This story contains mature content. Trigger warnings are included at the beginning of chapters. I hope you enjoy!

Captain - An Oliver Wood Fanfiction

57 parts Complete

"What? No, of course not. You're joking right?" That's what Oliver Wood told Erin Evans when she had finally gathered the courage to ask him out on a date. He had stepped on her heart and didn't even seem to notice it. But this year Erin is going for team captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, so she'd for sure be on Oliver's radar. Erin wants to protect her heart from getting hurt all over again, but can she keep that up when Oliver can't seem to leave her alone? All characters except for Erin Evans are owned by JK Rowling. I do NOT support JKR at all, but I wrote this fan fiction years ago when I didn't know any better, and the Harry Potter universe was a big part of my teen life. Includes LGBTQ+ themes/characters, but the main romance is a boyxgirl.
