Pain. Never ending pain was all he could feel. For his soul, his life, his love, the very thing he was supposed to protect was ripped from within him. And at his own hands at that.

All he wanted to do for weeks after that was curl up into the fetal position and scream. Scream. Scream until he no longer could. Scream until he bled from his mouth. Scream until he died. Alas the poor broken boy would not have the time of day.

This is basically my take on what happens after Harry defeats Voldy. Basically, I always thought that since Harry grew up with Voldy's soul then he should feel SOMETHING by having it removed. If not consciously then in his subconscious.
