The High Council of Vanor has declined the Treaty of Magi, a document that would decriminalize the current offense of being born a mage. This act triggered the declaration of the Second Mage War, a global civil war between the previously oppressed magi and those that wish to eradicate them.

Morin DeFior writes of his life from the day his power manifested to present day. With his writing he hopes to help others see that it was not the magi that asked for this. That they did everything they could to prevent it, but to no avail. If it is war they want, they will know war.
