The quiet girl being held in a government facility completes metal puzzles every time she's been given one. The doctors give her newly crafted ones that are more complex than the last. She is given handcrafted brain puzzles made specifically for her by an enigmatologist named Marco Mestiere.

To give the girl a challenge, Marco has to challenge himself to create the most complex designs he can construct.

He has been studying her as much as he is being allowed. For years he has been watching her complete those puzzles with no effort.

Finally, Marco decides to push his limits and discover more about her that was being kept from him. The government was hiding more than he thought from its own employees. His brilliant patient at the facility was not normal.

Marco continues to dig to find out more about this mystery genius and what more the people he works for have been hiding.

The puzzles used in this story aren't jigsaw puzzles. They are logic puzzles that you have to take apart and then put back together. All I have owned are some kind of metal -not cardboard.

Evita isn't ready to leave.

The unknown man was given to Oxford's hands which will be his last test subject. As their journey progresses, Oxford continues to discover many things, some of those is that the unknown man can do all things with ease, his blood is unidentifiable but he might be the cure for all deadly diseases, his knowledge is matchless, and he is in love with Oxford's daughter. Hands grip onto the elevator door and use bare strength to rip the metal further apart. Then, a blood-plastered face comes into view. His bloodshot eyes bore into me with hunger. Patches of flesh on his forehead and cheek are torn. His nose is gone, replaced by a seeping wound. His teeth are crimson, a piece of fiber in between the gap of his incisors. What frightens me most is the emotion in his eyes. The craving for flesh and blood. The desire to fulfill his hunger. I do the only reasonable thing. I scream.
