The quiet girl being held in a government facility completes metal puzzles every time she's been given one. The doctors give her newly crafted ones that are more complex than the last. She is given handcrafted brain puzzles made specifically for her by an enigmatologist named Marco Mestiere.

To give the girl a challenge, Marco has to challenge himself to create the most complex designs he can construct.

He has been studying her as much as he is being allowed. For years he has been watching her complete those puzzles with no effort.

Finally, Marco decides to push his limits and discover more about her that was being kept from him. The government was hiding more than he thought from its own employees. His brilliant patient at the facility was not normal.

Marco continues to dig to find out more about this mystery genius and what more the people he works for have been hiding.

^~^
The puzzles used in this story aren't jigsaw puzzles. They are logic puzzles that you have to take apart and then put back together. All I have owned are some kind of metal -not cardboard.

He has spent his entire life walled up in the Tower, the looming stone monolith from which his father rules over the Land. Merryn is the daughter of political prisoners. She's known who Theo is longer than he would think possible, and she is taking a great risk contacting him via handwritten notes in order to convince him he deserves more than the fate his father has designed for him. You're my..." "I know! I know I am. You don't need to remind me." "Apparently I have to cause you're talking about something that is totally illegal. That could land you in prison. And I think that's the last thing you want." "I don't care what happens to me. I care about you. And you know that..." "But loving me isn't the answer," I shouted, tears staining my fair skin. Maac stepped away from the tree, closing the space between us. His hot breath was steaming against my forehead as he looked down at me with his brown eyes, sparkling in the moon's light. "Lemme prove that it is, Sel..." as he lowered his head, lightly placing his lips against mine. I had lost. But he made me not care. Cause I was starting to fall for the last person I should be loving... *************************************** Warning: none of what is in this book actually happened. This is a completely fictional book. DO NOT CALL THE POLICE. This was just an idea I got while sleeping: what if someone did date their high school teacher... and got away with it?
