I was tired and restless, my knees ached and cried for me to stop but I couldn't if I did they would find me and I don't even want to imagine what they would do to me when they did so I kept running. the trees were closing in and every step I took I would graze on a branch but I kept on going, I heard a defening scream as I assumed on of the unlucky prisoners got caught, I turned my head and stole a glance at that exact moment I tripped over the thick roots on the ground and fell forward. I tried getting up but my body had a mind of its own,my eyes felt heavy and struggled to keep them open but I felt so relaxed despite my current situation I felt free, as I let my mind rest the last thing I heard was a loud 'bang' and I fell into a beautiful slumber wishing they wouldn't find me and stay here forever. ........ hi I hope u will like my first book and support me ....👉👈 don't mind the spelling errors it will go through editing 😊 bye hope u enjoy 1st in #serengeti 26 oct 2020

The locals had warned me that no one in their right mind would enter the North Woods alone, not unless they had a death wish. It's a good thing then that I am not in my right mind. Fear had prevented me from returning to this place for years, but the nightmares depriving me of sleep threatened to steal what little sanity I had left, leaving me with no other choice than to confront the source of my apprehension. I was tired of pretending that everything was ok. That I was ok. I needed the nightmares to stop. But in order for that to happen, I needed to uncover my lost memories. The North Woods held answers, of that much I was certain. So here I stand, ready to face my past. If only I could get my legs to move. **FIRST DRAFT - UNEDITED **
