In the early modern periods, the government has passed down the death sentence to all those who had practiced magic. However, the government was still powerless against the two magic clans, the witches and the alchemists. These two clans had been in war with each other for generations. So the government decided to create a new class, special class officers in the belief that this would eradicate the wizards and alchemist. Although in doing so they only increased the pile of corpses.

Subete Mushisuru, the son of the poorest farmer in the country decided to join this special class in an effort to help his family. Unbeknownst to him, he was only chosen because of how very little they cared for his existence. There he experienced things that were unimaginable. Such as the man who was hanged every day, the magical creatures that were unlike any beast that roamed the land and great magical wars that no human being had any power against. Day by day he question himself whether he would live through the mind torture of killing people again and again? Whether he would be able to stop the great magic war and the kill those who defied death with their magic? Or perhaps it would be the government's greed that he choice to fight against?

These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. There is a lot of hindrance in their path such as the Kingdom of Melloyern itself is turning against these guys. Still there are more. Can they survive? it's up to them to decide.
