In the town of Onscar, the people are divided into six groups. The Blackades, the Red Hearts, the Greenhousers, the Blue Tides, the Gray Souls, and the White Rangers. Supernatural abilities are extremely rare, and no one in Onscar has ever seen them. Until people of high authority, the Superior, and his Garrisons, discover six people of such abilities.
Sylvaine Stanley, of Blackades, speed and telekinesis.
Anya Love, of Red Hearts, love and mind reading.
Taika James, of Greenhousers, plants and communication of animals.
Yvette Smarts, of Blue Tides, water and teleportation.
Jax Levington, of Gray Souls, emotion and weather.
Brenden Trace, of White Rangers, light and invisibility.
They are outlaws, a disgrace to Onscar, and the Garrisons and the Superior are out to kill them. Coincidently deciding to run away on the same night, Sylvaine, Anya, Taika, Yvette, Jax, and Brenden meet for the first time on the night train. Working together, they encounter the unfamiliar world outside of Onscar, gain strength and power in their abilities, and do whatever they can to stay on the run, and away from the Superior, and the Garrisons, who will do whatever it takes to get them killed.
