How to Train Your Dragon Fanfic PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS "For the Love of Tides" This is a character X OC story - NOT AN X READER (I know the pain of opening a story that says X reader only to find its an X OC. literally infuriating.) Some pieces of this story are pulled from the actual script of HTTYD. Mostly just action scenes and all that since I suck ass at writing action scenes. I'll be going over the chapters as time goes on to make updates and fix things. I don't always notice spelling mistakes and all that so forgive me. Also, this likely wont make sense for the time period for HTTYD but fuck you its a fanfic I can do what I want. This story came out of nowhere, just decided to write it because I was bored. Incredibly self induglent lmao MOST RECENT UPDATE!!! Hello! For anyone whos interested, I have decided to attemp to come back to this story after a few years! But as sorry as i feel for not finishing the story, i want to rewrite the chapters i have written. I wont delete any of the old works of course, so dont worry about that. ALSO I OBIVOUSLY DO NOT OWN HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, ONLY MY OCS.

It's not perfect and definitely not what it started out as but this fic has parts of my heart and soul in it and I'm proud of how far it's come. Well, this is when you get to know my version of their full journeys, hardships, etc blah blah blah...I shan't bore you with history. So let's get straight to when Maleficent was born, shall we..? Please do not copy or retrieve any ideas from this story...It is all my efforts* put in, you know, I would not like others to take credit for my hardwork, but, the cover page's credit belongs to someone else and not me, though it did take me quite a long while to find it...... *There are parts of this book that are in reference to extracts from Isle of the Lost by Melissa De La Cruz P.S. It's 2022 now and I wrote this when a few years back when I was 11/12 it's very cliche and gets a little cringe so ahaha I don't want to delete it because I didn't back this up into google documents (back then I wrote solely on Wattpad's app) but here's a warning that it's not going to be very...well, in terms of linguistic ability and maturity. Alternatively, you can check out my later Descendants/Hadeficent book on Wattpad too, or oneshots I have uploaded onto AO3 :)
