I'm a teenager hoping to be a writer and I challenged myself to write at least a 1,000 word short story EVERY DAY for a month. Buckle in for a myriad of random stories from parents struggling with a Satanic baby to an elderly man finding a new purpose in life.
Warning: there will be swearing and some topics include murder and violent themes, so heads up.

February Daily Writing Challenges 2015
I really want to get into writing again as it is my passion but I'm mostly focused on Playwriting, what I decided to do was complete daily challenges (30 mins) and see what I can come up with! Hopefully inspiring my YA fiction characters I'm not saying 30 mins is going to produce great stuff BUT it will get me into the habit of displaying my writing (even if it's not the best) and hopefully inspire characters or stories I have jammed in my head! For the first few months I'm going to take song lyrics from artists I enjoy and get me thinking and work it into the writing, then I'll eventually branch out with my own challenges once I've had enough practise! This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. So you literally came here to just read the summary and not our story? Well I bet you did. For you to simply deal with yourself if you should go on and try reading a story of someone like me to know if you might relate with it, or proceed finding another one if not. That's something Elisha Veth Twain contradicted on. She even said that summaries are just made for some authors to play with the readers' minds, making them hope of something which, obviously, won't happen for the sake of putting up a little twist around the story line, but I have to say, that's actually a good choice.
