Anubai Milindrao Karanje from Bombay, Maharashtra, 1870. She was the daughter of a famous businessmen in Bombay. Everyone in the city knew and respected. Being born in the Karanje Wadi was not a normal thing. The Karanje Wada or Rajwada was a very big house with 11 members in the family. But it was not easy for her.
