When Leon's son Fayiz defeats Champion Raihan, his sister Amber isn't impressed. She was born amidst tragedy in Orre. Predictably defeating her cocky brother in Galar's Champion Cup just isn't exciting - so, along with her cousin Zane and Raihan's daughter Cassia, she heads to hostile Orre to take on the recently formed Orre League.

To defeat Champion Michael, these unprepared Trainers don't just have the unforgiving landscapes of Orre to overcome. They must triumph over an ambitious rival Seth, the son of an Elite Four member, as well as shady challenger Lumir; but most importantly, themselves and the family names they strive to honour while forging their own paths.

⚠️ CW: rated mature for language, violence and mentions of abuse ⚠️

Timeline: 32 years after Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, 24 years after Pokémon Sword & Shield

Some OCs, unconventional pairings and backstory are from my first fanfic, Pokémon Homecoming. It's not necessary to read to enjoy this one, but if you want more info, it's all in there!

What is life like in post-Team Plasma Unova? A young family from Orre is about to find out. Amber is the only Gym Challenger who came close to defeating the new Orre League Champion, her cousin Zane. She's also the daughter of World Champion Leon. Her husband is an Orrean football player who clawed his way out of poverty in Pyrite Town. They board the plane to Castelia City with their four year-old son Camden and a mixture of excitement and nerves. Will Trip succeed as the Unova Emboar quarterback? Can Amber collect all eight Badges with a four year-old in tow? The biggest concern of all, however, is... are they really living in a post-Team Plasma Unova? If the old man stalking one of Unova's heroes, N, is anything to go by, they may not be. ★★★ CW: Rated mature for language, violence, death and overcoming abuse. Timeline: 36 years after Pokémon Black/White, 34 years after Black 2/White 2 Regions: Mostly Unova, but there are references to various original regions based on other American states (hard to avoid when there's football involved!) and the Gharab region, which is based on Morocco and the setting of another story, Pokémon Vanadinite. Main canon characters: N, Hilda, Rosa, Hugh ★★★ This is a sequel to Pokémon Bloodstone and prequel to Pokémon Obsidian. You don't need to read my other stories to understand this one (references to the past will be explained), but I'd strongly recommend it to avoid spoilers and get familiar with all the OCs and families. My stories are best read in the order they were written: 1. Pokémon Homecoming 2. Pokémon Fool's Gold 3. Pokémon Battle Armour 4. Pokémon Bloodstone 5. Pokémon Obsidian 6. Pokémon Azurite 7. Pokémon Turquoise & Vanadinite

When failed actress Chalcedony gives up on the neon lights and crowds to challenge the Orre League, it isn't just the champion title she's after. She's discovered she was adopted under strange circumstances. Her biological family must be out there somewhere in Orre. By setting out on a Pokémon journey, she hopes to somehow find them, but she doesn't even know their names or what they look like. They might not recognise her. They might not want to see her. Even so, if she finally finds herself in her homeland, she'll be happy. There are certainly people in Orre waiting for a self-proclaimed 'tough girl' like Chalcedony, but not all of their intentions are good... ⚠️ CW: rated mature for language and violence. Not suitable for under 18s! ⚠️ Timeline: ★ 36 years after Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness ★ 41 years after Pokémon Colosseum Main characters: ★ Canon: Jovi, Michael, Wes, Ardos, Justy, Leon ★ OCs: Chalcedony, Rustie, Alfie, Lyndon, Abbey, Wyatt ★ Most of the story takes place in Orre, but there are a few mentions of Galar, Alola and an unnamed original region based on California (which borders Orre's inspiration, Arizona). Sunset City is there and based on LA. ★ This is a sequel to another fanfic, Pokémon Fool's Gold. It also follows on from Pokémon Battle Armour. It isn't necessary to read my other stories first, but I recommend it to get to know some of the OCs and avoid spoilers if you do ever plan to read the others.
