It is actually a free verse poem telling a story based on experience. You will read about the life of Chris (not his real name). It is never easy being under the state of depression. It is like a disease that poisons your mind and corrupts your soul. Pushing you to towards your limit, lets you do bad things to yourself and to the people around you. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum.
