You've been living in the Underground for the past 2 years as a powerful Spell Caster, you prefer living in the Underground than up top on the surface as you find Monsters to be better company but other Humans do pass through from time to time. Monsters can go up to the Surface but choose not too as Humans do not want them there and will attack them on sight but there are some curious Humans who will pass through the Underground and so to ease what ever discomfort they may have some Monsters can make themselves look Human. You the Reader didn't get to know all the Monsters, for the whole 2 years you just worked and relaxed at Waterfall until you met a certain Monster who changes your life and you change his.

The Monsters have been freed, humanity and monsterkind are finally at peace. It's the anniversary of their surfacing to the world above, but not every soul meets this new life with enthusiasm nor this celebration with cheer. Note: This is merely a mostly unedited upload of an old project I made a few years ago. Expect there to be mistakes, as with any piece of literature.

Undertale: Guardian on the Surface by BrandenSchneider

Branden and the Monsters have finally gotten to the surface. But things aren't as simple as they hoped it'd be once they got out of the Underground. Humans fear the monsters more then they did before and force them to live out of their city behind a wall. Monsters are patient and understand that they are a frightening sight after so long, and leave it to the ambassador to try and make things right. Frisk still has much to do though, as she and Asriel we accepted to go to school in the city while their brother, Branden, continues to train and protect all of Monsterkind. Eventually, his patience runs thin and starts to take things in his own hands, but will he make things better? After all, Frisk, Sans, and Branden all remember what happened before getting out, vividly. Will they be able to make things better, or will they get Monsters even more problems?

The humans sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell, after a long war many long ago and thats where they stayed until about a hundred years ago. The monsters had broken the barrier, and the humans were just beginning to get used to the new creatures roaming alongside them. This had caused havoc on your family, your parents hated you, and each other. It all troubled you, so you decided to end it. You stared at the hole leading to the underground, you closed your eyes and fell forward, but what happened next left you wondering, bewildered beyond compare. Now that you have the option to reset, your deciding if you should end everything, but you knew he'd remember. You knew it would phase him, but then you realize your not the only one with this power, and must stop them from misusing it. But will you be able to? Read to find out. What happened to all the monsters after Frisk- their ambassador- passed away? This story takes place 198 years after the pacifist run in Undertale, following twin characters Syrus and Fhara story when they fall through the opening in MT. Ebott and find themselves landed in the underground- trapped with the rest of the monsters. ----- Writing this was a trip- and I really hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it. Please, don't hesitate to let me know what you think. I'm excited to hear your opinions on this.

You've reset so many times just wanting to get something new. It didn't seem to work. You gave up and kept the time you were in going. Monsters were above ground. Humans have accepted them. But you, you wanted to keep going but you made a promise and you plan to keep it as long as you can. Sans kept a close eye on you while still considering you as a friend. You loved the world you were in, and you don't want to reset, but what if something happens? What will you do? You try to keep our if trouble, but... it's hard. Everyone seems to go against what you say, but you attempt to keep it hidden. But sometimes, you break. Everyone has those moments. But no matter what you won't reset. Never again. so this undertale story is where the monsters live on the serfice but its not upper tail. to the monsters humans where wiped out and they have week souls. more info in the book. its one of the best that ive written. I think anyway.

Many years have passed since the war between the humans and monsters. The humans won, and shut the monsters in a place called the underground. Keeping them there with a magical barrier, it took seven usable souls to shatter the barrier, but being monsters, their souls didn't work. Instead, they had to use human souls to break the barrier, and even then, humans were not likely to fall in. Because the human waste system ends up in the underground, the monsters are informed of what's going on up on the surface, and have developed human-like lifestyles, which included scholarship, friendships and the like, but it seemed, that the monsters were eager to get back on the surface again. Six humans were unlucky enough to fall into the underground, and the leader of the monsters, Asgore Dreemurr killed these humans to use their souls for removing the barrier. Asgore thought that those humans were the only ones that would fall in, but he was wrong. Two more humans fell in, but their souls were lost before Asgore could even use them, and those soulless ghosts were doomed to haunt the underground. Now playing the waiting game, Asgore patiently waited another human to fall, and fall it would. (Sorry! No Muffet or Grillby in this one!)
