"You can't tell anyone that I'm alive." I pleaded. He stared at me, a heart-braking look woven in his disbelieving eyes. "Why not? They could help you Flora. They could save you." I breathed a shuddered breath. "If anyone - anyone at all - finds out that I'm still breathing they will find me. And they will kill me." ************************************************************************ All Flora Estelle has ever know is running. Running for her life. Escaping from an underground compound where her and her family had been held captive for over decade due to a mutating gene developing inside of her was enough to push Flora over the edge. Especially since she was the only one out of one hundred who made it alive. Attempting to start a new, simple life: just like every other teenager lives, Flora amerces herself in an act of normality. But the past cannot stay hidden forever and Flora must confront it before things rage out of control. After all... There are no happy endings.
