Liv Thompson has lived her whole life for her parents instead of for herself. She pushed down and squashed any part of herself that would make her parents ashamed or unhappy with her. She became the perfect daughter. She had to be, her older brother had "gone off the rails" in her parent's opinion, so that left her to be the family successor.

With her last year of high school lying ahead, a partner on a school project may be the person who helps open her eyes to find the person she was always meant to be. The past haunts her, her parents wishes push her towards a future she's not sure she wants, her mind turning itself against her as she tries to figure out who she is. Will she be able to distinguish her parents desires from her own or be able overcome her internal demons in order to find herself?
