Gaara never had a simple life. Never had loving parents like other children would. He had two siblings, Temari and Kankuro, who were just as traumatized as Gaara. Their mother died when Gaara was born. As a result, their father wasn't very loving. He relied on drinking, abuse, and gambling as his life source. When Gaara was 7, his father made the biggest gamble of his small life... but what would that be?
Rock Lee never really had a simple life either. His parents died by a car accident when he was only 5 years old. A close friend of his parents, Guy, took Lee in and raised him like a son.
Gaara, Temari and Kankuro moved to Konoha when he was 15 to start a new life. His sophomore year of high school was about to begin in a new school with new people. He just thought he was going to be lonely just like at Suna until someone approached him and spoke to him.

A ninja must see underneath the underneath
The story starts right after the battle at The Valley of The End where Naruto battled Sasuke right before he joined Orochimaru in order to gain more power. Sasuke pierced Naruto's right shoulder with his Chidori technique. My story deviates from the canon series because Naruto's wound was not immediately healed by the Nine-Tails. Also, Naruto didn't go into his initial junchūriki form, as he refused to use the Nine-Tails chakra. The story starts with Naruto recovering from that fight in the hospital. Afterward, he is sent on a 2-year mission with his sensei Kakashi Hatake. As they travel together, their bonds grow stronger until they eventually learn about each other's true feelings. (Yaoi and violence!) ! - I do not recommend reading this story if you are not familiar with the series. ! - In this story, Naruto starts off as a 17-year-old, not 14 as in the series. !- The story continues until the canon's Pain episodes, so if you haven't seen that yet, there will be spoilers here. !- Yaoi lemon in later chapters. The KakaNaru relationship evolves from teacher/student to friends (bromance) to lovers while they travel together. I started writing this story because I'm a big fan of the Naruto series. However, there have always been two things bothering me. For one, the filler episodes and constant flashbacks of course, and secondly, the lack of relations. For example, Kakashi not caring all too much about Naruto's upbringing even though he is Minato's son. Or the fact that nobody (not even his godfather Jiraiya) adopted Naruto. And don't even get me started on the fact that nobody ever told Naruto anything about his parents, nor did he ever ask... Anyway, the list is long. It's my first time writing fanfiction. Obviously, I do not own Naruto or any other characters from the series/manga. My native language is Dutch, not English, so please try and forgive any spelling mistakes you might find. Shinki's story
Shinki is Gaara's adopted son and was born into a regular family at the outskirt of Suna. However, at birth, he was blessed with the power to manipulate sands and soon created his own iron sand to control similar to that of the 3rd Kazekage. As a infant, Shinki is unable to control his blessed power and often wreck damage to his home with his sands flying around, destroying everything it touches. Soon, his parents was victims and got hurt by his sands. Unable to take care of him, Shinki was abandoned at the age of 3. Still unable to control his power, he often hurt innocent people everywhere he go and people feared him. The news soon alarm the Office Building and Gaara went into action. A/N: I haven't seen many stories about Shinki and thought I should write a story about his life based on my imagination (and maybe throw a little Gaara's childhood in there). Shinki is my 2nd most favorite character in the new generation behind his lovely cousin Shikadai so I thought, what better way to show my love to him than writing a story about his life? I am currently working on a new ShikaTema story (but writer's block right now...) and a sequel to my first story is 'To the past we go' (I hope it will come out soon... Also writer's block lol). Himawari locked herself in her room, naruto thought she didn't liked her gift, then sakura asked what she wants; their "mother" is what she wants, sakura got an idea since they all don't know who their mother is, she brought her friend over, named Hinata Hyuga, a timid, shy, pretty girl who was at the same time looking for a job. The two- naruto and hinata- talked about it and came to a conclusion to work together and pretend she's their mother, but little did they know that fate already finished their story.
