It had been a month since Nico spent those 3 days in the infirmary, and he was slowly growing closer and closer with Will Solace. After lovely picnic on the lake, Nico realized how he truly felt about Solace, and ran from himself, ran from his feelings. But no one can run forever.
This is a chapter that I had pre-written from a Solangelo fanfiction that I'm writing, but I love it so much I wanted to release it early as a short story. Cover art is by @toastchild on tumblr! All characters belong to the wonderful Rick Riordan!

Three days in the infirmary. That's many how full days Nico will have with Will. They both want a connection between each other, but are too nervous. One of them might be planning to speak up. But everything about them is different. They are different from each other, and everybody else. What will happen in those three days? What will happen after those three days? What will happen... *dramatic pause* when disaster strikes? Will a disaster affect Nico and Will's relationship? What about when something that seems uncurable happens to Will? How can Nico and Will keep it together? Are they going to end up going their own separate ways? Or is somebody else going to try to control Will? Nico has to deal with other people's problems, especially when he doesn't want to. He has to quickly learn how to build relationships with other campers from the ground up, and even though Nico is banned from using his 'Underworldy' powers, he's still a demigod, and danger and adventure are always at his heels, even at camp!
