Macy Holland was known as the girl who no one noticed. She wasn't considered popular, nerdy, a freak, or rebellious. The craziest thing she had ever done was stay up until four on New Years. Since her dad had been a cop and her mom a lawyer, Macy didn't have the most exciting life. For seventeen years, Macy was fine with that. But that quickly took a turn, leading her away from the normal life she knew. When Macy found out her dad was dying of lung cancer, she took to finding comfort the only way she knew: walking. Little did she know that night walk would cause her to run into Jonathan White, the town's bad boy, and the guy Macy had a crush on since fifth grade. Too bad he had been too drunk to even remember her. Or, at least, that's what she thought.
