I don't think that's the real expression. It goes along the lines of penny for your thought.. .or something like that ....abeg don't come and give me wahala just because I don't remember this.
This is basically about random thoughts I get during the day. Some are really weird and others are really deep. There's seriously no in-between. Their either weird or deep . I'm Christian so, some thoughts in this book would be about Christianity 🤗
Anyways enjoy and hopefully, relate to some of these.

Madness
Mind is a wonderful thing.. it's something that makes us-humans, different from one another. We all have a nose,a mouth, two hands, two feet, two eyes, one head-it's the mind inside that head that makes a difference. It's the mind that decides our character, it decides our actions, it defines our life,it's our mind that makes us love or hate something or someone. People aren't all bad or all good.. they have a touch of both but it's the mind that tricks us into loving or hating a person. Most of the times we don't actually love a person, we love the image of the person that our mind creates based on our memories with that person & same goes for the hate as well, we have bad memories with a person, we have a bad image of the person which leads to us hating that particular individual. We don't see people for who they actually are, we don't see the world for what it actually is, we merely see the image of it that our mind has created, the world for us is nothing more than an illusion. Our own personal illusion.. What's funny is that no one's ever going to know your illusion-your world as it is for you.. Despite all of the brilliant illusions that our mind creates, mind itself is the greatest creation of the mother nature. Without mind-this great tool, there would've been no cell phones, no television, no books, no music, no love, no hate, no life. nothing! But in reality, the mind is but a twisted yarn of madness. Yet every mind is great in itself. And didn't they say..? "No great mind has ever existed without a touch of madness" -with love, Harika

"ON god i cant stand me dealing with these thoughts because sometimes it gets to me other times i successfully get them outta my head... i dont need to be thinking anythng like this for real...i need someone to save me you feel me...because like i said it isnt healthly to just sit here and feel like this...i gotta find good in the bad and most of the time it is...I wanna help so many people as i can and tell them this is the way...i wanna be peoples light..its sounds dumb but i know how to feel and i gotta get all this hate and dark feelings out" "I made this because I always wanted to keep track of my thoughts and feelings and maybe this will passed on to someone who wants to understand me..." At the age of 10, she was already betrothed to Mallam sanusi, younger brother to the village chief. His rotten kolanut designed mouth was all she saw when her mother disclosed that information. Being a strong headed child, she's always been, had she packed up her clothes in a silk headtie, she hit the road at midnight when every family member of hers was asleep. Had she known what she was getting herself into, she would never have left home. Had she known the hell she'll pass through, she would have happily married Mallam sanusi. Had she known the hardship she'll have to endure, she would have danced her way to Mallam sanusi's home. Had she known the dangers she'll encounter, his rotten kolanut designed mouth, would have been the least of her worries! But she's left home already, she has to survive. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order.
