I don't think that's the real expression. It goes along the lines of penny for your thought.. .or something like that ....abeg don't come and give me wahala just because I don't remember this.
This is basically about random thoughts I get during the day. Some are really weird and others are really deep. There's seriously no in-between. Their either weird or deep . I'm Christian so, some thoughts in this book would be about Christianity 🤗
Anyways enjoy and hopefully, relate to some of these.

Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. Call me a spoilt brat? That's what they all say. Don't worry I'm used to it now. I have felt till I feel no more.You can hurl all the hurting words but just remember one thing, Don't be too quick to judge.... You have no idea how it feels or how colossal the damage is. Our Anthem says ....."Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know " She is never around. She is always absent. She is so self-centered and only thinks about her selfish desires. It is all her fault...I wish I never knew her. Well, I'm not wasting my precious energy on trivial things. My numb heart beats no more so I care less. Since it happened, My world stopped revolving. I've been left broken beyond repair. They say there is beauty in the broken....Ah well, beauty ain't my portion. She tried, They tried, I tried..Yet to no avail.... Somethings are just meant to be. Right?? But No, don't give up on me yet. I'm going to rise up and roar like a lion. I'm going to bounce back bigger, better and stronger. It's just a matter of time. Madness
Mind is a wonderful thing.. it's something that makes us-humans, different from one another. We all have a nose,a mouth, two hands, two feet, two eyes, one head-it's the mind inside that head that makes a difference. It's the mind that decides our character, it decides our actions, it defines our life,it's our mind that makes us love or hate something or someone. People aren't all bad or all good.. they have a touch of both but it's the mind that tricks us into loving or hating a person. Most of the times we don't actually love a person, we love the image of the person that our mind creates based on our memories with that person & same goes for the hate as well, we have bad memories with a person, we have a bad image of the person which leads to us hating that particular individual. We don't see people for who they actually are, we don't see the world for what it actually is, we merely see the image of it that our mind has created, the world for us is nothing more than an illusion. Our own personal illusion.. What's funny is that no one's ever going to know your illusion-your world as it is for you.. Despite all of the brilliant illusions that our mind creates, mind itself is the greatest creation of the mother nature. Without mind-this great tool, there would've been no cell phones, no television, no books, no music, no love, no hate, no life. nothing! But in reality, the mind is but a twisted yarn of madness. "Leave me alone, Dianne!" I protested, shaking my cousin's hand off my shoulder. "Mirabel, I'm only trying to help. Think about it na. Your dad is dead and your mother is insane...!" "...my mother is not insane...!" I screamed at her, raising my previously bowed head. Still calm, Dianne smiled at me, "How long will you keep lying to yourself?" "Stop!" I warned - more like pleaded - dramatically turning my gaze from hers. "I'm only trying to help" "Don't" came the response, "Please...leave me" I begged once again. Dianne shrugged in surrender and stood up. She silently walked to the door. I felt her turn to get one more look at me, her distressed and depressed cousin. I just kept staring out the window at nothing in particular, shedding those thin, lonely stream of salt. "Just think about it" she urged me one more time. I frowned. There was no point thinking about it anymore. I had made my decision. ***** Mirabel is everyone's favorite.
