"Ifeoma please, let this pass. You know you've got all the honours and post you want in this company. If you don't let me, I know I can't get this promotion. I need to do this for my daughter. Please let me have it." Mr Samuel said with a pleading look on his face.
Ifeoma shifted backwards slightly. That familiar smirk rested on her face. She didn't remove her gaze from her colleague in front of her, not even for a second.
"Please." Mr Samuel said again.
"Let's make a deal." She proposed.
"Anything."
"Let's exchange our kids for a month." She blurted out. Her lips didn't even twitch a bit.
Without thinking, he gave her his hands.
"Deal?" He asked.
She accepted his hands.
"Deal."
