In a world of mythical beings that for the most part live harmoniously, there's the werewolves. To keep order amongst werewolves they follow a strict caste system based of three things. 1. Losely off of the Greek numbering system. 2. Strength and size, 3. Intelligence. These are the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilons (Which are the warriors of the pack), Zetas (which are den mothers, workers, the common folk) then there are the Omegas, the servants, the weakest and smallest of the pack, and lastly even lower than Omegas, Runts.
When runts usually don't make it past their first shift what happens when one does? Follow Lavender and her wolf Fluer on their adventure, navigating through serving her Alpha, trying to stay out of trouble and...mates?

The Alpha's Daughter
The moon pack lost their Luna eleven years ago and the loss of her still impacts them all. Especially her three children and her mate. As her children hit adulthood read how their life's get turn upside down when lies and secrets exposed leading to heart ache. Luca the future alpha of the pack has black hair with a white streak in it, his wolf is black with a white tail tip. Daniel is short with brown hair and is wolf is a reddish brown. Tia has long black hair and like Luca has a white streak her wolf is also black but her white streak is over her left eye. Their father Alpha Thomas is plump and old his once black hair is now grey, he's wolf was pure black but he has lost his wolf due to the death of his mate. Luna Natalie, is tall, thin and she has curly grey hair. Matthew is tall muscly and strong, he has blonde hair his wolf is Golden. There is a lot of secrets involving alpha Thomas which all won't be revealed in this book. For my story the wolf side of them isn't an different character and there is no Communication between the two as they are one person. Mates can mind link and so can packs. Mates can live without their mate, but the pain of the loss can kill them. They can feel their mates feelings, but more so the more mated they are. The Whipping
After an Alpha has given up looking for their mate, and they need a Luna to help run the pack, they will organise an event known as The Whipping. Female volunteers from packs around the country will put themselves forward if they wish to be in the chance of becoming a Luna. These she-wolves would be whipped in front of all the packs, again and again until their backs were red raw and blood covered. The last female remaining would be given the title of Luna as the Alpha would only want the strongest wolf to help run his pack. Most wolves gave up and quit as they couldn't take the pain, but some head-strong females would go until they were no longer breathing. It was an ugly tradition, from years ago.
