Rik is set in his ways, he knows what he wants and where he is going. Until he meets Jo in London and she, unknowingly, begins to challenge his lifestyle. Jo, an inspiring writer, feels her life is at a stalemate. Then she is introduced to a group of people who swiftly become new friends, giving her a new lease of life. She is drawn to Rik, someone she has never met the like of before. But she cautions herself, for why would worldly extrovert Rik even consider her, a quiet bookworm obsessed with tea, more than a friend?
