Mature
A poor family life with abuse after abuse after abuse. It felt like there was no escape but when the two people who gave you life were about to make you expire too soon, you ran into the woods. Deep within your Paleolithic chromosomes, you knew the only way to get further away from them was forward through the seemingly endless terrain of trees, grass and animals.

Knowing you reached an end, you were lost. No one to save you. No one to protect you. No one to love you.

Until now...

Mythology is truly a wonderful thing to learn but while they are classified as just myths, hence the name "mythical", it is believed some still exist among us. One in particular is terrifying in theory.

A Naga.

A Naga is a monster with the body of a very very large snake and the uper torso of a human. They are believed to be very dangerous and cold hearted. But that has now been proven wrong.

Are they indeed dangerous or caring and loving?

Where trust is the thing you cannot rely on, who can you trust? ____________________________________________________ What I went through . . . I couldn't wish that upon anyone. It wasn't just horrific, it was everything. I walked through death, walked through heartbreak, I walked through betrayal, I walked through a city of ruins, I walked through unimaginable tests. I survived against things you wouldn't even want to know. Things you couldn't even conjure up with your imagination. But I still did. But you want to know the worst of it all? I only had one chance. ____________________________________________________ Where nations are now out of control with the sudden rise of population and the demand of essential items and access to shelter, the government needed to take back control of society. So all the major powers of the world joined together and after a long ten decades of suffering, came to a conclusion; Resdue. Which was basically an acronym of saying 'death test'. Two students from each individual high school in either grade eleven or twelve would be chosen by the principle and teaching committee to be sent to the Resdue Test. You were supposed to rely on your partner and was forced to as if one partner were to die, you would join them in death. But when Bryce Henson is chosen from her school, she can only hope she can survive the first test.

This is a human x naga romance novel, so its not for everyone. There are inhuman aspects to the body of one of the characters (obviously) but they fall in love and get sexy anyway. You've been warned. Nash is retired. After seven years of fighting in a war on behalf of an empire that wasn't his home, he was granted citizenship and retirement. He can live in style the rest of his days... but Nash isn't interested in living in style. Instead, he claims a secluded cabin that was built in an ancient, unsettled forest. He wants to start fresh, and forget the things he did during the war. But the townsfolk in the nearby village are whispering about monsters in the woods. They warn him that he'll die if he stays out there. And there is something out there. Something big. But Chass, the monster, is the one who is in for a surprise. Nash's people don't believe in monsters. They believe in gods. What will this monster do when the human he's decided to kill worships him? It's frustrating, and totally not what he planned! Why is the warrior making little wooden shrines to him? Why does the human bow and say he's alright with Chass taking his life? This annoying human who is a competent warrior, a strong and independent man with soft hair and soft skin, who says Chass can do whatever he wants...wait... wait.... this just might work out. TW: sexual content, explicit content and language, violence, fantasy death, hunting animals/prey Kinks: praise kink (literally, Chass really likes that Nash thinks he's a god), size difference, monster dick, a little interesting bondage and immobilization, lots of "say I'm your prince" and "you're mine" and possessive behavior, yay!

It wasn't till she was up close and personal with the experimental subject that she realized the true gravity of her situation. Naga, a creature only told of in folklore and online stories waiting to be used and abused by the government just like so many others. Tangled in a web of deceit and conspiracy, pitted against instinct. Nature rises and all is put at risk as she finds herself at the center of the grand experiment. Pitted against two races, a world away from her own, all odds stacked against her.
