If there's one thing Mia Reynolds can't stand, it's fake country music. You know, the kind with shallow lyrics, canned drum tracks ripped off a pop album, and songs that talk or rap through the verses instead of actually singing. And don't even get her started on the blatant abuse of auto tune. She's a banjo picking, bluegrass listening supporter of real, classic country music.

Country music sensation Chase Marshall is exactly the type of artist Mia can't stand. So when the two cross paths, fireworks ensue--and not the fun kind. It's a full on knock down, drag out war zone. Mia is living every fan girl's fantasy. The only problem is, she is not a fan. And this clash of traditional versus modern is going to be one for the record books.

This isn't the story of how the city girl fell for the cowboy, oh no, this story was how the city boy fell for the home grown country girl. Harper was a single mother with a six year old son as her pride and joy. She owned her fathers old ranch as his last wish and lived an almost normal life. She had proven that she didn't need a man in her life after what had happened with her ex husband, but no matter what she did she couldn't seem to get away from his mistakes. She had known that he had had another child with someone else, but she had been unprepared for when that child's mother passed and how her ex was now getting out of county jail. She knew it wasn't her child, but the sibling of her only love Lucas. She was going to adopt that child and make a real home for her. Only she didn't know what a fight that would be. Caleb was an attorney from the big city of Detroit. He had been assigned to a case that brought him down to the sunny land of Georgia, with the heat and stetson hat fashion. Not knowing what all it would contain he was shocked to be faced with a fierce woman. Independent. A good head on her shoulders. Harper was all he could have ever wanted. He was struck with what he would have sworn to be lightning and wanted to know what made her tick under that gorgeously tanned skin. But they were from two different worlds. And he had a lot to learn if he was going to win over the country girl. Especially with him representing her ex-husband. Boundaries are made, lines are crossed...when family is what you have, its all you've got. Once you have it, you don't want to let it go. #1 in Country! Mia Collins just wanted to get through her senior year of high school with as minimal awkward situations as possible. However, that's kind of hard to do when you have a narcissistic arch-nemesis who's hell-bent on ruining your life. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he seemed to take an immediate dislike. After all, it only took a measly few hours of knowing her for him to kick a soccer ball right at her unsuspecting 11-year-old face. Though they did not know it then, this iconic moment would mark the beginning of what felt like a lifelong feud. Six years later and their mutual hatred for one another is still very much alive and kicking. She despised him, and he despised her and that's the way it always would be. But what happens when sparks fly, and stomachs flutter? Will someone break the eternal feud? One's thing for sure- Mia will definitely not be the one to break. ----------------------------------------- If you're looking for a hilarious, light-hearted teen-fiction book, with a whole load of embarrassing situations, this is the read for you. 10 parts Complete

Sixteen year old Dakota Jenkins lives in Tennessee and is as country as they come. She has one girl friend and the rest are guys. Unlike most girls she'd rather go mudding than shop any day. One night at a high school party she plays truth or dare. She's dared to kiss her crush of 5 years, Jackson Smith, and fireworks go off. Not only do they go off for her but they go off for him too. They begin to like each other but there's only one problem. Jackson has a girlfriend. Not only does he have a girlfriend but it's with one of the most non-country and preppy cheerleaders you know Amanda Lane. The girl that Dakota just so happens to despise. You may think it's that easy to break it off with her but Jackson's and Amanda's parents are best friends and plan for them to get married once they are out of highschool. Dakotas feelings grow more and more everytime she sees Jackson. The real question though is does Jacksons feelings grow for Dakota as well? ***********This book is kind of like a spin off from College mom-to-be. You do not HAVE to read College mom-to-be first to understand this book because it has it's own story line. It's basically just the characters because the story is from the daughter's point of view now. If you DO plan to read College mom-to-be I would suggest reading that first though because it does give stuff away from that book. Anyways, hope you enjoy! Thanks for reading!*********
