The Extra

I looked at Kyle in disbelief "Why are you still here?" I blurted out, my curiosity getting the best of me. I looked down, "I'm nothing special." I whispered.

He chuckled that deep throated laugh that had butterflies erupting in my stomach. He tilted my head up, his wonderful green orbs meeting my shy brown ones. "Sweetheart, you don't know how special you are."

Ava- the nerd, the wallflower. She's the one that you don't see observing from a distance. The one that would rather listen than be heard, trust me when I say she has a lot to say.

Kyle - the new guy, the man on campus. He's the one that people immediately label as a jock not a math genius who would rather read a good book than go to a pep rally. Well- at least according to The Rules.

But that's the thing about rules- there meant to be broken. So watch as Kyle teaches Ava a lesson, that being noticed isn't that bad. And that being loved can change your whole world.
