Kylie is a single child living with her father. Her mother died when she is ten. Kylie is now eighteen and her father refuses to pay for her to go to college. Her father excludes her and shuts her out. 
Kylie is depressed and lonely around him. So she turns to her one and only friend. Caden who is also eighteen, but he is going to college after the summers over. 
Suddenly Kylie's dad disappears and Kylie is now afraid. So Kylie is Moves in with Caden. 
But with College starting Kylie would be alone. Completely. Then Caden gets this ingenious Idea he takes her with him, but keeps her hidden around any other people. 
When they think they are safe secure and happy, it all turns upside down. Caden and Kylie are running for survival. At any moment Kylie could die.
