Lani Starfire. Nobody. A lowly circus slave looking to escape to a new life with her best friend, Dex. Until an escape plan goes wrong and she's thrust straight into the heart of a world of war and power. A power that she's supposed to be able to command. Suddenly, she's caught the attention of the Deathling, the second most powerful man in all of Vardia. He believes that she is the key to winning the war. Can she navigate this new world around her and save her country, or will she be exposed as the no one she really is? And if she can take her place as right hand to the Deathling, will it mean leaving Dex behind forever?

- this story is sort of my own take on Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone
- And there is violence, so if that bothers you I'd pick a different story :)

The Sirius Bloodline of the moonlands or as one would like to call it 'Lunalurse'. Time passes and Maria soon turns seven and still doesn't awaken her gift. The King and his Queen find it odd as a royalty child mostly awakens their gift between the ages of 4 and 6. So they strive to seek answers, some deep inside the lunar palace, and some across the realms making long-life friends throughout the way. Would the powerless princess awaken her gift? And if she does what would it mean for her, the realms and everyone else? And what if her long-awaited gift is something no one has seen coming, not even her? And what if this power of hers releases unknown and unwanted guests some the world would have been a better place without and what if she's all to blame? And what if whilst performing her duty of protecting the realms, she becomes aware of the feelings her best friend Ashton harbors for her, knowing her cousin has taken a liking to him for years? Rowan realizes he has fallen in love with her cousin, as well as Zephyr who has fallen for Maria. She finds herself in a turmoil of longing and raw emotions where she has to choose between love or performing her duty. Read it all as it takes place right before your eyes. It's never too late to hop onto the track of fantasies "I might be the princess of the moon, but I can also be the bringer of your doom." ----- All the characters, kingdoms, names, and places are my ideas. Any resemblance to real ones is purely coincidental. The story contains some violence and some explicit scenes of gore, but nothing too bloody or disgusting. Keep in mind, that this is the first book I've ever written, and English isn't my first language. Any mistakes or twists of words are unintentional. I'd do better than this in the future so 🐻 with me.

Ivan, one of the most loyal and trusted wards from the General Kirigan also known as Darkling, walked through the corridors of the Little Palace searching for the General. "General"he said entering the room where he was looking through a map"We found her" The General couldn't help but to put his head up with surprise. "Where?"he asked impaciente. "In the woods, in a camp of Fjerdans" he answered. "Why is she there?" he asked, confused. "We don't know, but one of our trackers was in the woods and saw the camp with the girl bound hand and foot with chains" he explained while they were walking to get prepared. The girl that they were talking about was a girl with long brown hair and natural waves, gray eyes, flat nose and freckles called Kaida Deveraux, and why? Well, she has been searching and seizure in Ravka for almost three years for killing almost 30 people, but, why this interest of General Kirigan in her, the thing is that the bodies were found with their eyes out, they took them off them self and when they asked to the people around the place they told them that a purple wave ran out of a girl and then they started to scream. In the whole history it hasn't been a Grisha with that kind of power, but what if that wasn't her only power. Based on the Shadow and Bone trilogy. It's my first time publishing a story in English, I hope I don't have many mistakes and if I have them I'm sorry. All rights reserved. The story does not belong to me, it belongs to the wonderful Leigh Bardugo. It only belongs to me Kaida and her past plus some characters I've added. I hope you enjoy it very much.
