The Elite Queen

The Volturi Kings as well as their Elite Guard have become desolate, destructive and down right dangerous. No one besides them knows why they have become so threatening and somehow even more lethal than they already were. They have searched everywhere throughout the past 20 years, but not even Demitri, not even the entire Volturi can find their mate.

She lives alone in the forest of Washington, and is furious and distraught herself, perhaps for the same reasons as the Kings and Guards. She is after all vampire herself and therefore feels the bond seven times over but has no idea what it means due to her lack of vampire knowledge.

Or perhaps she is upset at the irresponsible Cullens who are destroying the Washington Forests ecosystems and equilibrium of the world's balance by drinking from large predators as well as endangered animals.
Maybe if it was just that, she would simply rectify the problem and restore the ecosystem and balance. But no. The Cullens have done something unforgivable and unforgettable and they don't even know it. The large scale predators that were not fully drained and therefore became vampirimals. Thank the gods she got there in time, each time. For she is the only one who can reason with these beasts.

When a nomad passing by tells her about the trial of the Cullens by the vampire royalty, she sees this as her chance, to make the Cullens pay for their crimes. What she doesn't know is how large a stir this will cause for the entire vampire world.
They have found their Queen. Their 8th and final member of the ruling class of vampires. Plus newborn vampire bears are now a thing.
