Izuku Midoriya has had his fair share of trauma. The first incident happened when he was four. 

July 15: Izuku's birthday, the day he was pronounced quirkless.

September 21: The same year. His mom was injured in a villain attack on their apartment complex. She is now in a coma. Izuku went to live in an orphanage until she can go home.

February 14: When he was walking to the hospital, a patient lost control of their quirk and the building went up in flames. Many casualties.

May 8: The day he had enough.
