Rhea Samara is a 23 year old native villager in Alaska. When her parents go missing and the villagers have been searching to no avail, she decides to go look for them herself. After searching and coming up empty handed, she gets bitten by a giant monster, and left for dead. Slowly bleeding out, she's barely found by the Alpha of the Artic Shadows Pack in time. Discovering a whole brand new world to her, death is potentially looming. Not knowing if she'll even survive her first transformation, Alpha Akida teaches her the ways of the wolf. Things begin to look up for awhile until the giant monster who left her returns, claiming her as his, and a lead pops up linking the giant monster to the disappearance of her parents.
