"Do you want to be King?" "No. I want to be *the* King." ... Ambition. Power. Determination. Drive. These were the four things Boocien had in the beginning. His powers were still developing, and he had little friends. Some looked down on him, and some mistook his size for weakness, but that would prove to be a mistake. This little Boo that could was *not* to be underestimated. As a crisis looms on the horizon in mid-20th century Boo Woods, one smaller-than-average Boo will rise to the challenge and become a figure commanding authority and respect. He will do battle with an eccentric, dark-haired college professor and his feisty, unsinkable Italian-American companion, and he *will* be King.

For as long as I can remember, the world that we live in now is ruled by vampires. Humans were looked down upon and treated like nothing but trash. One strict rule was put in place, that a vampire and a human can never be together. Anyone that broke that specific rule had to face the king of all vampires himself, and trust me you do not want to face the king. The stories I've heard still give me nightmares...
