War. Not just any war. War. The kind where you fight for your life. The apocalypse has destroyed almost everything beyond the set city limits. The undead scattered around the ruins. This city that the government has built for us is just about as dead as the outside world itself. And I'm sick of it. I need to get out there again, and feel alive. Get my revenge.
Hannah Hemmings, 18 years of age. Her parents both died when the apocalypse began, leaving her and her brother, Luke, to fend for themselves. They escaped once, and only Hannah returned, claiming to get revenge on the boy who killed her brother. Being back in the city for a year now, she finally has her plan to escape. All is well until she's caught escaping by the most intimidating, yet beautiful man she's ever seen. Can she carry on with her plan of revenge, or will this sneaky, yet heartthrob of a man get in her way.
No, she's getting her revenge no matter what it takes, even if it's killing more than zombies.

Skyler Aviana Hemmings. The youngest of the Hemmings family. She used to be the bubbly, kinda girly sister of Luke, Jack and Ben. Luke's age is the closest age to Skyler's, thus her and Luke has a stronger relationship. But everything drastically changed when Luke's band became very well known and he'd tour for a number of months. She grew distant from everyone except for her friends Percy, Avan and Drew. She started locking up in her room all the time, dying her hair, getting piercings and tattoos, and would stay at Avan, Drew or Percy's house more often. Just like her brother she is musically inclined. She can sing, play the guitar and drums, and of course write music. She belonged in a band called 'Monsters In Your Heads' as the drummer and singer of the band. Whenever Luke comes home she would take off her piercings, dye hair blonde, and wear baggy shirts and shorts as well as foot socks to cover her a tattoo she got below her ankle. She'd avoid him and always go out until he'll have to go back on tour. But he went to tour for 10 months.
