Hey everyone! I am making this book a short summary of each bug part of the book "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio.
First, if you have never read this mind blowing book, this breif summary will tell you my oppinions of the book, and how great I thought this book was(1-10).
The book Wonder us based off of a 5th grader named August Pullman who was born with facial deformities. August Pullman is starting Middle School with no one he already knows. Beecher Prep's School principle, Mr. Tushman tells Auggie to come down to the school before it starts to take a tour with a few students. Charlotte, Jack, and Julian "voulenteer" to help Auggie with the tour, and things don't go so smooth.
When school finally starts, August tries to ignore everyone. Everyone. Anyone. Everyone.

My Summer of Writing and Stuff
The summer of my 5th grade year, my mum made me and my sisters type a page of something everyday. She didn't care what we typed, as long as we were writing and creating something. At first, I saw it as torture, so I tried so leave as many spaces as possible in my writing to fill up the pages faster. Eventually, I started to enjoy writing the stories, and now that I look back at them (as much as I hate to admit it) it actually wasn't that bad. This book contains everything I wrote during that time, and I didn't change a single word as I transferred the stories from my computer. There aren't as many stories as you would think, because I didn't write for the entire summer, but there's quite a few. Some are short stories while others are longer, but I hope you enjoy all of them. It's quite a mess, really. And I'm not joking when I say that. (I used the Canva app to create the cover. [COMPLETED] Autumn Cross is now in 12th grade at her new school, Willington High, with only one goal in mind: passing the 12th grade and going to a good college. But her world changes when she meets Ryder Becker. Ryder Becker is one of the most popular boys in all of Willington High. I mean, all the boys want to be him and all the girls worship him. He could care less about grades because he knows that football is what's going to get him into a good college. But his carelessness in grades changes when he meets Autumn. In the beginning she thinks it's a total curse, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise... They both may pretend on the outside that they are fine, but truth be told, they are both broken. The way his smile doesn't match his sad eyes draws her towards him, and the scars and bruises on her skin draw him towards her. A cure for your sadness could be another person, right? Well put her broken pieces together with his, and you have cracked the code. How The Bad Boy Found True Love.
I watched him watch me as he was about to press his fist into the big red button that read "Emergency Fire!". I was unable to form words because, I thought about how hot he looked as he stared back at me with such intensity. It just intrigued me. I finally snapped out of my trance, but not because I'd came to my senses, but because I felt a cold sensation running down my body. I blinked about three times before it finally registered that he'd pressed the button and now water was spilling from the roof, and some students were laughing and playing. My breath hitched in my throat as he came closer. "You really should've worn a more, I don't know, a thicker shirt or bra. Because your two lovely friends are standing at attention." as the words left his mouth, realization caught up to me and I flushed with embarrassment and quickly crossed my arms over my chest.
