A deadly smallpox virus is released during Black Friday and destroys the lives and the city Spider-Man fought for years to protect. Cut off and left without help from SHIELD or The Avengers, it's up to the wall crawler to save what remains. Fortunately, there are a group of people ready to help him. They are sleeper agents waiting for the signal to carry out their duties for the Division.

But Ben and Cassie's friendship has gone ripe and Tom is trying to make it right again. When Ben and Cassie are set out on a run together, will they overcome their hatred for each other and make amends when faced with the Infected? Or will they encounter something much more sinister that will truly test their friendship? What secrets are they holding back and will they be revealed before it's too late?
