Fifteen years ago, the Nephilim Ezrael Mekas screwed up. He inflicted a terrible curse on an innocent boy, before the child was even born.

Ever since, protecting Connor has been his only mission in life. Yet at every turn, he seems to be causing him more harm. Connor has a death sentence hanging over his head for Ezra's crimes. He's been forced into servitude as a lab rat for Elioud Biogenesis, the research institute where Ezra works. He's head over heels in love with Ezra, who is incapable of returning his feelings. And worst of all, he's living with a dangerous secret--one that the other Nephilim would stop at nothing to capitalize on, if they knew. 

Somehow, Ezra has to find a cure for Connor's condition before it's too late. He has to keep anyone else from learning of Connor's miraculous second reproductive system. And he has to keep his own growing attraction to Connor at bay, because everyone knows Nephilim can only fall in love with someone they've married.

Now if he could just get Connor to cooperate...?
