After the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the Avengers start looking for Steve's long lost best friend. What they don't know is that Natasha Romanoff also knew that man, maybe not being the same as how Steve knew him, but she did. And oh, how she loved him. He was supposed to be no more than her teacher, but they let love consume them. Sure, they were separated, but now she had an opportunity to get him back, but was she brave enough to do that? Did he still love her? Does he even remember her?

When the Avengers hit a Hydra base, to get back the scepter, they come across a room, where someone is bound, from the ceiling. Rescuing the fraile figure, they return to the jet victorious, only to find their rescue, is none other than Ana. She was barely conscious, and from clear signs, she was not there willingly. Taking her back to the tower, they try to help her, only to find that she has no memory of them, and now holding her own power. Thor wants nothing more than to destroy every single person who had hurt her, his need to protect her burning within him. She makes sure to bump into him, while shopping for groceries, introducing herself, but she finds he's very closed off and guarded. Can she get through to him, or will he up and run again?
