Penelpe Welsh is different. Living in the 17th Century is hard when you are. She knew she was ever since her 14th birthday, though she doesn't know why or how. Maybe the fact the she to bit the neck of a close friend or her freaky night vision. She doesn't know, but she want's to find out.

After 3 years of bullying, teasing and an otherwise miserable life, she gets her chance at freedom. A small ship owned by her father is set on it's first trip. The perfect escape. As a stowaway, life is hard, especially when the ship she is hiding on is attacked by pirates. And when the captain of their ship is the infamous Jack Sparrow.

She made a name for herself in her ruthlessness, saving no mercy for any gender or rank. Along her life she got herself into a spat with Davy Jones on the seas, interfering with souls he was trying to collect by force. She said it was an imbalance to the natural order but he in turn nearly killed her..Tia Dorma nursed her back to health when she found Jessica washed up on the shores of her island. Her entire crew had been killed and she was left barely alive. So Tia Dorma decided to held her in exchange for her beating heart. Jessica didn't understand at the time, and claimed she had no use for it so she could happily take it. Everyone she ever cared about was dead anyways so what did she need it for? However, Tia said there was much about a human heart that she had yet to lean and she would only give the heart back once it heals and Jessica could "properly utilize it" whatever the hell that meant.. Until then Tia would put a spell on Jessica. She couldn't die until something in Jessica stirred that cold heart of hers..read to see more!
