Hi, this is Natalie. If you're from Bridgetown, you'd perhaps label me as mean but I can be funny at times. Well, I just have to let the wit come in first. I'll most probably also avoid you unless you're in my inner circle- which consists of me, my twin sister, and three other girls. It's cliché but there's this guy I've been running away from - the popular bad boy who is also the School President! All the girls are easily swooned by his charming face but hey, it's not going to work on me! But who was I kidding with my kind of luck; his locker is just next to mine. "Mi Niña", David sweeps me off my feet and holds me against the locker, "I'm not going to stop chasing you," he brushes his thumb against my lower lip, "you'll be mine!" Wait, wait, what was I saying? "That you won't fall for his crooked ways," I hear my twin sister scoff. Well, cliché but I let my heart burn with its own fire. But someone didn't take it too well. How do I know? I found myself lying in a pool of blood with multiple other girls whose hearts were taken out. And from the excruciating pain in my body and the horrified look of David, I can tell I was also almost dead. And we were swept with the color of blood and fire and I waited to be drowned by the crimson tide.

"Death isn't just one thing that happens and is over with. That description fits life more. Death is eternal. I mean that's how I view it. Death brings joy and pain. In my opinion life should be viewed as death is. The end. Death is the beginning. A new life, a fresh new start. Its beauty is unmatched. I imagine it feels like stars bursting, a million smiles and just pure happiness." Cancer. What a pain. Valerie's crippling illness leaves her hospitalised, bored out of her mind, dreaming of how she just wants to be a normal teenager. Although her thoughts are constantly intruded by someone. The boy. She was intrigued by him, he visited everyday at the same time, 2:47pm. She wanted to know his story, why was he here? Is he visiting someone? Her curiosity overflowed her. Anyways, it didn't matter, for her illness was getting better and she could finally get back to school. Sophomore year. Gosh. She could finally be a normal teenager. Then she saw "him" in the school hallways. The boy. Although he seemed different, less warm, more cold. It was like he put up a façade and barricaded his true self.
