Kaminari's Secret "Girlfriend"
Kaminari and Shinso have been dating for about 2 months, but haven't told anyone about it. Kaminari spends as much time as he can with his boyfriend, but his friends start getting suspicious as to why he no longer had free weekends. To them, the most logical thought was that Kaminari had a girlfriend. Will he tell them the truth? This is a Shinso x Kaminari fic of course! This was inspired by a Haikyuu fic I read a while back on AO3 I believe it was called pronouns so go check that out when you have the chance. ARC 1 (COMPLETED) ARC 2 (COMPLETED) Izuku Midoriya was getting fed up. Fed up with what, you may ask? Fed up with the endless flirting. No matter how many times he'd tell people he wasn't interested, they'd keep trying. One day, he was quite literally running from those exact people, when he stumbled into Denki Kaminari's dorm room. They end up talking about Izuku's current situation and Kaminari offers a solution. Fake dating. Izuku hesitantly agrees, just wanting to put a stop, or at least an obstacle, to all the relentless flirting and harassment. What happens when it stops feeling fake? Especially when Kaminari seems to be keeping more secrets than he can afford. Excerpt👇👇 "Honestly, with the detemination both of them seem to have, I don't think they'll give up until you finally start dating someone else or them." Kaminari joked. But he wasn't wrong. I was holding onto the real Shinso and although I didn't remember him being here before, I squeezed him tighter in fear of being sucked back into my own head again. Tears welled up in my eyes, my entire body still processing what had just happened. I still wasn't entirely sure if it was even real, which only made the thought worse. ❞ It had been years since the graduation of Class 1A and the rise of the new generation of pro heroes. Crime had died down and the town lived peacefully with heroes becoming more of a mascot rather than actual crime fighters. Kaminari had made a decent life for himself, not having to worry about villains and evil. However, on a random day, the sudden supernatural death of the second top pro hero rattled the town. A familiar man who Kaminari had watched grow up in the corner of his classroom. Villains were back and it left everybody in shock. Nobody had answers so Kaminari decided to take it into his own hands. About a year ago, I discovered my love for the short story and decided to build a collection of shorter works. I'm so glad I did; the variety of plots, characters, and settings I got to explore taught me so much, and I am beyond pleased with what I have to share.
